Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the basic and the full report?

The basic one answers whether the price is fair. The full one adds what matters most: whether you can trust who's selling, verified against Dominican official registries, plus the checklist of what to review with a lawyer.

Do I need the builder's tax ID (RNC)?

It helps, but it isn't required. We attempt the verification with the name alone; if something can't be confirmed, the report says so plainly instead of assuming it.

How long does it take?

The price verdict is immediate. Verification against the official registries takes a few minutes and appears in your report on its own when it finishes.

Does this replace a lawyer?

No, and we don't pretend it does. The report tells you whether that property is worth paying a lawyer for — and hands them half the work already done when you hire one.

Should I get a pack or the Pro plan?

If you buy one property and you're done, get a pack: it never expires and you pay once. Pro makes sense if you've been searching for months, because on top of the reports it watches the properties you already verified and tells you if something changes — a permit that lapses, a new lawsuit, a tax ID that gets suspended. Pro reports renew monthly and don't roll over.

What exactly is monitoring?

Every month we re-check the official registries for the properties you verified and compare against the last thing we told you. If nothing changed, we don't write. If something did, we tell you what changed and why it matters.
